Give Yourself 2 Jesus

The Devil Is Not Your Friend

The devil is your enemy./
Don't be fooled by how nice, good looking and kind he can pretend to be.../
Your enemy prowls around like a roaring lion /
Looking for someone to devour. He is selling, I'm not buying.... /
Anymore. I've already purchased worthless soul stealing /
Non sensible nothingness, and it is no longer appealing /
I crave substance! And not the substance I can abuse /
No longer confused /about how do I win? I. Will. Not. Lose./
I've chosen a side. And it is with Christ /I live in the day, not scared of the night./
Alright? Alright. Alright? Alright. All bright /
10,000 watt lights/ light up my life /and cut away sin with a spiritual knife /
Or more like a double edged spiritual machete / ready to slice / up my life.../ so...
Follow Him, Follow Him, Follow Him, Follow Him, but don't lose your grip. /
Slip, fall down, break a leg, maybe bruise your hip. /
But...,keep your soul!!!/ from the evil one trying to snatch it /
Jesus throws a Hail Mary!!! all we have to do is catch it/ &
Forget the fake carrots dangled in front of us by the devil /
That's vapor from a viper, let's roll with the original Rebel....

Jesus....Jesus....Jesus....Jesus!!!

Say it, sing it, whisper it, think it, in fact, we should scream it!/
& learn about the Word and try to live it like we mean it. /
Cause our lives are kinda short, and we all know that there's and end..../
so we should give ourselves to Jesus, .......because the devil is NOT your friend./

Forgiveness

God's extended mercy: "Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me." Through God's grace we have forgiveness for our iniquities. As humans, we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. As sinners, we are victims of the consequences of sin! (See Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8-10) All we must do to receive God's gracious gift is to confess our sin. He is faithful and just to forgive us (1 John 1:9). God's forgiveness is complete (Ps. 103), it is everlasting (Isa. 44:22), and it is always available (1 John 1:9). What  joy it is to know that God willingly and gladly releases us from the debt of sin and restores our fellowship with Him. It is a debt we could never repay or eradicate. Although this gift was free for us, it cost Jesus His own precious blood (Rom. 5:19). But despite Jesus great price for our forgiveness. He unconditionally bestowed it upon us (Eph. 4:32). As children of God we continually need pardoning. But to our benefit, there is always an ample supply of forgiveness flowing through the love of the Father. God's forgiveness is not automatically given. We must humble ourselves before Him, confess our sins, and cease from sinning. (See 1 Kings 21:27-29; Isaiah 1:16-17; Joel 2:12-13.) In the world of business, a debt is defined as financial obligation - something one is bound to pay. Some medium of exchange or currency is needed to erase the debt. That means we are liable for our sins. The payment is eternal punishment! However, Jesus provided the "currency" through His blood and paid our debt of sin, leaving those who trust Him debt free. Because we are shaped in iniquity (Ps. 51:5)., our greatest need is that of forgiveness. God forgives our sin (Mic. 7:18)., removes it completely (Ps. 103:12), and forgets it forever (Ps. 25:7). Thanks be to God that Jesus Christ has met this need and has restored our fellowship with our heavenly Father!
Read Psalm 51.

Recent All-Star Game History
2013 (Houston): Paul leads West to All-Star win
With 20 points, 15 assists and four steals, Chris Paul earned the Kia All-Star MVP Award as the West edged the East in a tight 2013 All-Star Game, 143-138 in Houston. It was the third consecutive win for the Western Conference and, not coincidentally, Kevin Durant became the first player in history to score 30 or more points in three straight All-Star Games.

Love One And Other

Romans 13:8-10 (KJV) 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery , Thou shalt not kill , Thou shalt not steal , Thou shalt not bear false witness , Thou shalt not covet ; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

God is LOVE! All day everyday, always and forever.

Jesus did not pick out one special day to love each other, we should show love to one and another no matter what day it is.

From my bestie in AZ, my fam! <3
Just as God gives grace to us every day, we need to give grace to each other.
Proverbs 27:17 - Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

A Deep Convo?

I put up a status the other day...
That said: "What happened to deep conversation?"

The best respons I got, was this: what can one have a conversation when the world is driven by things that have no value. where dinner bells used to usher us to discuss the day fast food and coffee shops are now the norm. most of these guys will look at you and fall in love with the fantasy of the image and could care less if you had a voice. a conversation is food that takes away stress and makes us look forward to another day despite our troubles. a conversation is a splendid thing that fulfills a void hidden deep within the shadows that erodes our brain cells if left to its own devices. I conquer what has happened to conversation?

And the next best one was: It went out with throat lol

In My Pocket

Desert Times

There are times in our lives, The Lord may lead us through A lifeless, barren desert, A time of testing too

But desert times can be A place of special growth, Where God can do a work And let His healing flow

I know that in these times, We don't feel God is there, We feel so very distant And lost without His care

But God is there beside you To bring you to a place Of cool, refreshing waters Flowing with His grace

But for the present moment, You maybe in a drought, Don't give up on your faith And don't you start to doubt

God is always faithful And He will walk with you, Through the darkest moments, He'll be leading you.
